At 1500 elevation, you'll be sure to have snow. You won't require anything else, as Kathy supplies all linens, comforters, cooking utensils, toilet paper, etc.

This remodeled, 2 Bedroom, 2 Full Baths, enchanting Kottage has been updated for your vacation enjoyment, but Kathy has retained most of the originality of it's history. Kathy's Kottage was used as a Miners Lodge way back in the early 1900's. Called Gorton's Lodge, the original sign is still hanging in the entry way.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Zig Zag River, 24 hours a day, from every room, and there's always a breeze coming off the river.

Kathy's Kottage is loaded with all the extras. Enclosed porch has a desk, perfect for that inspiring writer! You have a view of the Zig Zag River and the mountains. From there you'll enter into the Entertaining Room/Living Room, which was the Reception Room, when it was Gorton Lodge. The decor has been kept in it's original condition, with the woodsy, look of a Lodge.

The Master Bedroom is romantically darkened with the walls of nature surrounding Kathy's Kottage. Fall asleep on this plush, King Size bed, with warm flannel sheets and down comforters. In the master bedroom you also have your own private bath and your own TV. After a long day on the ski slopes or hiking, stretch out and relax, listening to the sounds of the River, just outside your bedroom windows.

The Guest Room has more of an Antique look and offers a Queen Size bed, along with your own TV. All TV's have expanded cable.

The Living Room has been renovated with carpeting, and 2 large sofas  which open up to Queen size sleepers, for those late night friends. Plenty of seating area for that family gathering. The Dining Room shares the Living Room and can seat up to 6 people.  The Living Room also has a TV and DVD/VCR Player for your viewing and listening pleasure.

The Kitchen is modernized and updated. A cook top stove, which also supports a grill, great especially on those cold, wintry nights when it's too cold to cook outside on a BBQ.  There is even a dishwasher, garbage disposal, ice maker, coffee grinder, and don't forget a pizza cutter. Everything you'll need to prepare that gourmet meal. Brew a pot of coffee and enjoy the view of the river on the cold mornings, looking out from the kitchen breakfast nook.
